Long gone are the days of June Cleaver stuck in the kitchen at the back of the house prepping dinner, while Ward and the guests enjoy cocktails in the lounge. The chef is the new rock-star and meal prep is suddenly sexy. Like the set of a modern cooking show, this kitchen is designed around a floating stainless steel prep tablet which doubles as a full dining table. Up to 10 guests can sit, relax, sip wine, chop veggies while the chef prepares their meal on the induction cooktop right in front of them. Electrical outlets and wine drawers are also built-in on both sides of the tablet. It’s the ultimate entertaining-kitchen, if I do say so myself.
